Advanced EchoLink users who are familiar with programming may be interested in EchoLink's Programming Interface, which allows external programs to interact with EchoLink to implement additional features. For example, scripts or Visual Basic programs can be written to send commands to EchoLink, and to react to significant events, such as stations connecting or DTMF commands received.
The Programming Interface is built in to the EchoLink program file, and is implemented as a COM Automation server. Complete documentation is available as a separate download. To download, choose the Download link on the EchoLink Web site.
